How to set up your BPHOST email on your phone or desktop

To send and receive your BPHOST email in an app like Outlook, Apple Mail or your phone, you'll need your mail server settings.

Your settings

  • Username: your full email address
  • Password: your mailbox password
  • Incoming (IMAP): mail.yourdomain.co.za, port 993 (SSL)
  • Outgoing (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.co.za, port 465 (SSL)

We recommend IMAP so your mail stays in sync across all your devices.

The easy way

In cPanel, open Email Accounts and click Connect Devices next to your address — you'll find exact settings and auto-config scripts for popular apps there.

Tips

Always use the SSL/TLS ports above so your email is encrypted. If your app shows a certificate warning, make sure the server is set to mail.yourdomain.co.za. Need a hand? Open a ticket.
