How to change a client account package

As clients grow, you can move them to a different package to adjust their disk space, bandwidth and other limits.

Change the package

  1. Log in to WHM and search for Upgrade/Downgrade an Account.
  2. Select the client's account.
  3. Choose the new package and confirm.

The new limits apply immediately — the client's files, email and databases are untouched.

Need a custom limit?

If no existing package fits, create a new one first (see our guide on creating packages), then assign it. You can also tweak an individual account's limits via Modify an Account.

Billing

If you bill clients through WHMCS, remember to update their product/price there too so invoicing matches. Questions? Open a ticket.
