How to point your domain to BPHOST
If your domain is registered somewhere other than BPHOST, point it to our servers by updating its nameservers. This tells the internet where your website lives.
Find your nameservers
Your nameservers are in your BPHOST welcome email. They usually look like:
- ns1.bphost.co.za
- ns2.bphost.co.za
Update them at your registrar
- Log in to the company where your domain is registered.
- Find the domain's Nameservers or DNS settings.
- Replace the existing nameservers with the BPHOST ones above and save.
How long does it take?
Nameserver changes can take from a few minutes to 24 hours to take full effect (propagation). Once done, your domain loads your BPHOST site. Stuck? Open a ticket and we'll confirm the right settings.
