How to turn on auto-renew for your domain

Auto-renew makes sure your domain doesn't accidentally expire — we'll renew it automatically before the due date.

Enable auto-renew

  1. Log in to your client area.
  2. Go to Domains → My Domains.
  3. Click the domain, find Auto Renew in the management options and switch it on.

Why it matters

If a domain expires, your website and email stop working, and after a grace period someone else could register it. Auto-renew (plus a valid payment method on file) is the safest way to keep your name.

Note

We still email a renewal invoice before the date, so keep your billing details current. Prefer to renew manually? Leave auto-renew off and pay each invoice. Questions? Open a ticket.
